Bookies give up on Tiger Woods

I've never heard of bookies giving up before.

If there's a chance of them keeping their money, they'll usually have everything crossed - fingers, toes, whatever.

But the homepage of Centrebet reads thus:

Sportsbet has decided Tiger Woods is a moral and has paid out early regardless of whether he wins or loses. Applies to all outright wagers placed before 5:30pm Fri 13th.

Put it in the "strange, but true" category.
